Angie Higa’s success story exemplifies the concept of a third act in our lives. Ms. Higa worked 30 years in the banking industry and retired in 2008 to care for her granddaughter during her eldest daughter’s military deployment. Her business idea evolved from a passion for design and sewing and the inspiration was an airplane trip where no blankets were on board the flight. In 2009, Angie Higa launched Sky Dreams, LLC which creates travel blankets and matching comfort pillows.
